The More Music, The Better English

We organized an online meeting with my students and evaluated the process of the project and the activities we did. All of them shared their experiences and feelings. They said they learned many new web2.0 tools thanks to this project and developed their use of English.

 We held and online meeting at Zoom with our students and discussed about the activities we had done collaboratively. We checked and evaluated on each twinspace page carefully and talked about our forthcoming creative project activities and exchanged ideas.

This was our first meeting at school when we started discussing about the project and when students brought parents' approval forms to join the project. There were only 6 students, but later 4 more joined the project!  

  Croatian students divide project tasks among themselves. Everyone is responsible for some activity according to their abilities and wishes. Mia Paloš wanted to try artsteps.It is a tool she and the other team students have never heard of. She used artsteps to present the school of our dear Turkish partner students and their teacher Seza Altintas Uzun . Project calendar- APRIL 2022   This is the month of April of the project calendar for this year 2022 designed by Croatian students Niko and Barbara!

  We held an online meeting with our students and we reviewed what we have done so far. We talked about Twinspace and the forum pages. I also informed the students about the work we need to do for the eSafety label.

 My students prepared a video about the city during an online meeting "Istanbul" aftey they learned many web 2.0 tools and decided on which top attractions to present. It was abirrliant experience for them to prepare a video and make their own sentences in English about the their hometown.  My students and I really had entertained while they were designing their Spanish friends' school on a virtual tour via artsteps.com, Web 2.0 tool. They learned how to create a school on a digital platform as well as how to work collaboratively. Today we are happy for introducing one of our partners Yeşilevler Borsa İstanbul Anadolu Lisesi. For this exhibition my students watched so many videos to learn how it works and after that we arranged online meetings to create our exhibition. At first my students thought it was a little bit compelling but after using programme actively they changed their minds. I can't help saying that this is the most sensitive and exciting collaborative work for me and my team.These are the moments taken from this collaborative work.

  Today is the day that we introduced one of our partners and also my former school Yeşilevler Borsa İstanbul Anadolu Lisesi. While we were having meetings with my students, my memories came flooding back so this work has a special meaning for me. For this work my students prepared visual exhibition with new web2 tool Artsteps. In the beginning they thought it was so complicated but after few trials they liked it. My students, who learned many new web2.0 tools through this project, met and loved Artsteps, an incredible application to introduce our Croatian partner's school with the exhibition. They said that it is one of the applications they want to use the most in their lives from now on. Together they have created a wonderful introduction exhibition in collaboration.

These are the lovely moments from online and face to face meetings while my students were creating the city introduction video. My students learned some new video creation applications with this work. They learned so many new information about Bayburt and the most important one was they had so much fun.

My students introduced our small and lovely city Bayburt. They had both online and face to face meetings to find the best and clear way to do that. They shared all photos and informations in their hands. Except for few ones all photos belong to my students. Thanks to this work we realized that we had limited information about this city especially about cuisine. When they came to the end of the day, this cute video was in our hands. Our task to design the month of May as a calendar has been completed!We designed this calendar via the web 2.0 tool Canva with my students .We really enjoyed it while we were working together.  

My students have designed beautiful New Year postcards for their friends!They are very creative!Thanks to this project,they have been improving their English!  

Our first collaborative work ,our project poster is ready.We prepared a poll to choose our slogan on Google Forms.According to poll results, 'When the words fail, music speaks' slogan has been selected with  29% of the votes.By adding the slogan ,our poster has been fantastic!We have designed this poster on Zoom platform with 90 students and 9 teachers.

  My students proudly and happily introduced their cities together. They learned different video creation applications and shared what they knew about their hometown with each other.

  Our school is located in one of the fastest growing cities of Turkey. My students gathered photographs of their hometown, gave information about these photos in English and create this amazing video by working collaboratively.   Wow! Designing a 3D VR Exhibition was really an extraordinary experience for all of us. We watched many tutorial videos and learned how to use this amazing web2 tool "Artsteps". We created the presentation of "Buca 85.Yıl Anadolu Lisesi" and added a song which describe the atmosphere of the school. We're looking forward to use this tool again. Here is the link.  This is perhaps what my students were most excited about in their work so far. They did so much research to promote their hometown in the most effective way that they rediscovered their hometown.   Thanks to this work my students created incredible logos and they learnt new web2 tool.They also had so much fun :)

Being away from our school didn't stop us to meet and work on our 3D school exhibition of our partners' school, Şehit Burak Cantürk MTAL. We met on zoom and created the exhibition by using Artsteps. It was a very fun and productive activity.

 My elegant and sensitive students, who always care about special days, celebrated their new year by creating new year cards for their friends with whom they worked on the project.

  We designed our own months for our project's collaborative calendar. My students prefered to use different Web2 tools while creating their months. We held a mini poll among the students to choose the best one. Here are the winner months September and December.

  We have finished our collaborative calendar. Our students are really very creative and they did an incredible job. Each partner has designed its own month by using different Web2 tools and the students also added lyrics of their favourite songs that best describe the mood of the month. Finally my students and I created the calendar. We had a lot of fun while working on this task.

  We gathered at school with my students to create a virtual tour of our Spanish partner's school on Artsteps Web 2.0 and collected some information and pictures.

My students creatively worked on the month "July" by using Canva's monthly calendar templates for 2022 and added a part of their favorite song lyrics. 

 We wrote new year cards to our beloved friends from other schools. It was such a great experience. Look how cool and colorful they are :)

  My students created their own month for our common product, the calendar, through brainstorming and great research in collaboration, and they did it with pleasure. When I see them working and producing with pleasure, I am proud of them and I always say that I am glad we are in this project.  

  My dear students, who are in love with research and learning, created their own months for the 2022 calendar, which is our common product with all partners, and they worked together with pleasure while doing this.

Among the logos designed by my creative students this logo was chosen as the best with 430 votes from 598 votes.  

We held our third meeting on Zoom Platform and we had a brainstorm about the next tasks. It will be a busy week.☺

  Dear friends, this is the winning logo of Ekonomska škola Braća Radić Đakovo.  We had some great designs, but, this is voted the best. Some of our logos can be seen down.
